Yes folks, this year the team at New Mardi Gras have gone beyond all expectations and are delivering an incredible array of world class DJs & entertainment for the big event! For 12 hours, across 7 diverse venues, over 16,000 local and international party people will help bring the 2007 Mardi Gras season to a spectacular close.

New Mardi Gras Party will bring you a splendid mix of entertainment that you're unlikely to see anywhere else in the world. From Boy George (DJ Set) to the Freemasons, Paul Mac, The Presets (live), Katie Noonan & the Young Divas. Add to this the very best of Australia 's DJs, caberet stars, divas & drag queens & you are most definitely in for a night to remember.

Our Mardi Gras season theme for 2007 is “Objects of Love”. You will experience ‘Objects of Love' all over The Entertainment Quarter at Party 2007. We will declare ‘Our love for a Sunburnt Country' in the Royal Hall of Industries, you will ‘Love the journey' in the Hordern; those in the Dome will ‘Love sensations', we know you will ‘Love Lycra' in the Forum and the Women's space in The Fuse Bar will make you all moist if you ‘Love girls,
girls, girls'.

Mardi Gras Party 2007 is shaping up to be a massive night, & a party to be talked about for many years to come.

But the party doesn't stop there! To prove our stamina, (... & our love of a good time), here's a few of the recovery parties on offer after the Big Night! Toybox @ Luna Park, DTPM @ Tank, Summer Love @ the Forum, Homesexual @ Home, iCandy @ Middle Bar, Flash, Cherry Party & more. Of course, if you need to warm up for the big night, there's also plenty of exciting events leading up to Mardi Gras, including; Sunday 18th February – Fair Day @ Victoria Park w/ after party at The Bank Hotel (Newtown)

Saturday 24th February – Mardi Gras Pool Party @ Victoria Park Pool

Sunday 25th February – Azure V Harbour Party – @ Lady Macquarie 's Chair Thursday 1st March – Mal Stewart Party @ Slide (invite only). There's also few club nights that are well worth checking out too. It's great to see the Phoenix is back in business with regular monthly saturdays including Action, Wolf Club & Tribe all pulling a sexy crowd of underground music lovers. Sundays are proving to be a big night on the social calender as well. The new iCandy has movied up to the freshly refurbished Middle Bar @ Kinselas & proving very popular with a funky, mixed crowd. Expect to hear a great mix Sydney 's finest house DJs, & who can resist a cocktail on the balcony at sunset?
